What season is it?

  Where I live greatly determines what I dress like for the day. I don't mean "Should I dress soft-grudge today or Vintage Chic?" I mean "Should I wear sweatpants and a sweater or Short shorts and a flow-ey tank?" That is because Maryland is one of those places with WTF weather. One day, you can wear that adorable mini dress from Asos (This dress will be the death of me if I could ever get it) but the next your stuck wearing your grandmothers old, busted parka because it's ice cold. *Shiver* However, I feel that I made the appropriate choice to stay warm, cool, and look good... That was until I sweated like crazy in 3rd period dancing and preparing for my Choirs POPS concert next week. ANYWAY! You be the judge.

So, yeah...

I will type an example of what's it's like to comeback and do Chelly Belly after almost 2 years:
    Looking at your old Myspace profile from 6th grade and you thought that you were super cool.
These are absolute lies. I sound like an immature baby trying to make this website so now I shall redeem myself. It looks like we're both coming back to Chelly Belly. And me coming back to my senses.

Chelly Belly: The story behind the name

Hello all! I wanted to make a special post for today. As you all know the name of my blog is Chelly Belly, but a lot of people don't know what this means. Let me first say that, my mother is the biggest part of my life. She was a phenomenal person and mother. She was my Hero! But this day, two years ago, she died of congestive heart failure. I've been comtemplating for a while whether or not I should share this but, she was one of the reasons I'm writing this now. She has givin me so much confidence and love, I thought it only fair to return some of the favor. A gorgous addition to this earth and I'm saddend she had to leave.

Oops! I did it again!

   Why do I keep falling behind with post for yall!?! I am frustrated with myself for not being here, so now that schools almost over, We can get more stuff done. I have a video for you guys so, enjoy.

P.S. I may start using clothing pieces from other post just to show you guys, its not hard to switch it up! It's simple, and with a few changes or an accessory or two, you'll be the talk of the town... Also, Im not allowed to shop for a while... BUT that's another story :3!

Lets Chill...

Here in Maryland, spring break is over. But, It was fun while it lasted. The relaxing view of the television, the soft, flowey feel of the sheets on my back, the soothing sound of 'Lazy' by Bruno Mars on my stereo, everything seemed right with the world. However, all good things must come to an end. I felt so relaxed with the flow, that I even let it inspire this weeks outfit!

Also, since it;s nice enough outside to just let it "hang" (Metaphorically, please don't let it hang. That's just gross) I want to share some of my favorite flowey pieces with you all!

Good girl... gone bad?

With my friends, I am known as crazy... but well-mannered. I've achieved good grades (sorta), never been involved in boys, drugs, or drinking, and I've always known when to call the cops (except for when I was a little younger and I didn't know the fine for dialling 911 without a emergency...☻). However, lately something in me has been wanting to rebel. My grades have slipped and I'm NOT happy, and I have been a little more flirtatious than usual...*ahem* you know who, call me! I'm not saying that now I go around town getting into bar fights and waking up next to some guy dressed up as the Burger King Mascot* but, I do feel a new phase coming into my life, and whether it last five weeks or five years, i am gonna make it WORK!!

Temptation

We all have things we want and/or need in life. Food, money, or love are just a few topics. Living in a small suburb of Maryland, there's not much to do on the weekend. Luckily, i live 30 minutes away from one of my favorite place... ANNAPOLIS MALL!!!! OH GOD IF I HAD MONEY! CLOTHES, WETZLES PRETZLES, MACY'S!!! I'm sorry, I just get so exited... But, there is one store I can never pass without begging someone in my family for me to enter, or at least touch. That store, is Torrid.

Which brings me back to my original sentence. What's the use of going to a store, and not have any money to shop with? Well, that's my dilemma. The feel of soft cotton, the look of bold leopard, or the taste of satisfaction when walking into a store that was made for people like me... It brings a sad tear to my eye to think I have a soulmate whom which I can not touch. Sure I have a few things from there, but I want that feeling of satisfaction everyday. Like a soft kiss from that  one person you love... I guess you now see how this withdrawl is to me. I don't want anyone reading this to feel sorry for me, but I do want one thing right now. Shop, Shop like you've never shopped before!!! LET OUT YOUR LOVE FOR FASHION AND GO FORTH MY FLOCK!!! Just remember, it's all in the love of Fashion.
